Last year witnessed many celebs taking their relationship to
the next level and getting hitched. Two of the biggest Bollywood weddings took
place in 2018 and it was much hullaballoo. Right from getting married in
different customs to having different receptions, 2018 was a crazy year for
media as well as for their fans. This year too we saw a few couples walking
down the aisle. On the 17th of this month, married ladies will observe the festival
of day-long fasting- Karwa Chauth.
Karwa Chauth is normally celebrated every year by millions
of married women who observe fast and pray for a long and healthy life for
their husbands. With passing years, his band too have joined in and have started
fasting for their wives. Our Bollywood clebs are no less.

The list includes names of celebs like Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas, and Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh
For being in love for more than 6 years, Deepika Padukone
and Ranveer Singh decided to surprise their fans with a sudden announcement of
an intimate wedding. The couple got married in Konkani tradition on November 14
followed by Sindhi one on November 15. DeepVeer then hosted multiple
receptions- one in Bangalore followed by two in Mumbai. We must their reception
which included the entire Bollywood industry was a damn big party. We would
love to see if Deepika or Deepika and Ranveer would observe their first Karwa
Chauth.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas
After dating for a couple of months, our Desi Girl, Priyanka
Chopra, and Nick Jonas got engaged in August last year. The actress, along with
her American singer boyfriend, finalised Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan as their
wedding venue. Nick and Priyanka too followed each other’s customs and decided
to first have a white wedding on December 1 followed by a Hindu wedding on the
next day. Just like DeepVeer, Peecee and Nick also hosted multiple
receptions. We can’t wait to see if our
Desi Girl carries the tradition of Karwa Chauth there also.
Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah
Not to mention, SpotboyE was the first one to bust the news
of Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah’s secret wedding, which took place in Delhi on
July 4. The couple, who had met a few months ago, took very little time to
decide that they want to spend the rest of their lives with each other. Then
during an interview, Pooja had confirmed their wedding and had revealed that
they tied the knot in the presence of their family and close friends.
Rakhi Sawant and Ritesh
Now we were the first ones to break the news of Rakhi
getting hitched in an intimate wedding to a London businessman named Ritesh.
Not much is known about the man but Rakhi keeps us hooked with small hints she
keeps dropping. Ritesh has spoken exclusively to us revealing that he would
like to maintain his privacy. Let's see of both keep the Karwa Chauth fast or
not.
Well, we don’t know about men, but we would surely love to
know about the actress if they are fasting on their first Karwa Chauth.
